The Funny and the Fabulous of Callie!

The FUNNY:

Callie has humongous feet! I mean, size 8 even! She is not even 2 yet and she can wear the same shoes Lettie, who is 4 1/2, just grew out of! Sometimes she can wear a size 7, but it cuts into the top of her feet! Because her feet are also...
... unusually FAT! I swear her feet probably make up 10% of her body weight! And when she walks you can ALWAYS hear her coming! Shoes on or shoes off, she always makes an enterance. You can hear her Flop, Flop, Flopping from all the way across the house! This is in stark contrast to her sister Jovie who practically tip toes on her thin light feet wherever she goes!
It is not a bad thing that she has big ol' feet! It is just something about her that makes her who she is and gives us a chuckle every now and then! Here is the sleeping foot model now (oh, and by the way the red on her eye is some hot pink lip gloss that came with a kid's make-up set that Lettie decided to paint both her baby sister's face with. The bad news is, it does not wash off... sigh. They are still pink 1 day, 1 bath, and 5 face scrubs later):

The FABULOUS:

The curls! The curls are fabulous! And the longer her hair gets the more fabulous the curls become! When her hair is wet is goes all the way down to her shoulder blades, but you would never know it because of the tight curls! And they have natural highlights that give it terrific deminsion! The problem is, if I do not use a ton of conditioner and comb it out right after her bath, it gets tangled and you can not brush it out! I NEVER brush her hair on a daily basis. If it gets tangles and unruly I just put it back in a ponytail or piggies because it hurts her too much to brush it! I met a guy in the store yesterday who had the same hair and he can not brush his either. You just have to put product in it, scrunch it, and hope for the best! But in long curls, bushy, pony, or piggies... the curls are always FABULOUS!

A de-frizzing serum does wonders for it! I put it in over Thanksgiving and it looked like this! The problem was it was so cute people could not keep their hans off her hair and by the afternoon it was frizzy again! It was nice while it lasted!
Got anything funny and fabulous about one of your children?

On Blaise's birthday I'm gonna write all the weird, wacky and wonderful things that he is and does :)

At least her eye isn't like that from getting hurt! When I first looked at it I thought "ouch". Hope it comes off soon!

Sena has the same curls and I love 'em!! Sawyer's feet are all but as big as Aiden's and there is a 2 yr age difference.

Too, too cute! I just realized the other day that she and Amelia are only 5 months apart. certainly didn't seem like it last summer! Hopefully they will have fun together if we end up in Concord. The mountains aren't THAT far away.

You would like concord. It can seem quite rural if you live on the ourskirts of concord, yet you are close to a lot of things.
